Hi,

I need a small keyboard to use on a cramped desk. I use this all day every day so it has to be comfortable to type on. I don't need a number pad. I use a Lenovo laptop some of the time and the keyboard on that is great.

I don't need wireless (this is actually a pain as I have to keep replacing the batteries).

I purchased an "A-tech space saver compact keyboard" which is totally useless, clattery and a couple of the keys don't work (sending it back!). Can anyone give a personal recommendation of a good compact keyboard?

Cheers :)

Apple keyboard. Low key travel. Thin profile. Small form factor.

It really is a good keyboard, but at a price - apple price. Only problem is that the function keys would not work on the PC.

I got the Logitech K340 for the same reason in that it's a compact keyboard as I actually use a small laptop table to game on. Yes it's wireless but it uses some power saving feature and claims average battery life of 3 years (I’ve had this now nearly 3 years and still using the batteries it came with). Well worth looking into.

Thanks everyone.

I like the look of the Logitech but it's too wide unfortunately. I need that without then number pad!

The cherry is >£50 which is a fair bit more than I wanted to spend. Apple keyboard looks good but again it's a bit pricey.

Any other suggestions ?
