Compact mechanical with backlight?

I like a keyboard that isn't full size. Basically with the numeric keypad but with cursor + command keys stuffed into the end of the main keyboard section.

The coolermaster cm storm quickfire TK is a fairly good example of what I like.

I'd ideally like cherry brown switches as something of a middle road gaming/typing switch (though if anyone can advise - I usually use a lot of "laptop" style keyboards with very low actuation, what's the nearest non-tactile cherry switch?)

Backlit is a must too, preferably not in a forced colour but if forced, likely blue.

What's my options?

I got one of those this week, loving it. Sounds like you want red cherry mx switches as they are quite light to use. You may want to start looking at 60% keyboards or tenkeyless (TKL), usually they don't come with additional buttons though but some like mine have a function key which can be used for mute etc and obviously you could just install autohotkey.
