Folks looking for a little advice; I've been planning a gaming build over the last few months but delayed as I wasn't in a queue for a GPU (I'd actually picked up an Xbox Series X and given up on the build until today!)

I managed to get my hands on an MSI 3080 Gaming Trio that's being delivered; I hadn't really had any 3080 preference and grabbed the first one I could get and I understand that generally the Trio is a good 3080; I do see its bigger than many though and I wondered if my planned build with a Smaller Mini-ITX case is viable case wise.

I've been looking at a couple of cases and narrowed to the Cooler Master NR200 or Nzxt 210i; but I'm looking to check that either are going to be fine size with with the card I've got?

This is basically why the NR200 exists :p. It supports cards up to 330mm long and 60mm thick, so plenty of space for that card. As you've probably already discovered, very few ITX cases support cards that big.

As for the H210i, I'm not sure the card will fit. I haven't checked, largely because it's irrelevant; the PSU shroud and PSU placement chokes larger cards. It's a known problem with that case, and would inevitably be an issue for you given you've bought a 56mm thick card.

The NZXT 210 looks bad for GPU thermals as the PSU location starves it? I could be wrong

Thanks guys; Nzxt confirmed it doesn't fit in the 210; I might just go for the 510; save some money by going ATX; if I could find stock of the NR200 it would be a no brainer!
