compact system camera super macro setup help

what do i need to get super close ups of say ants and stuff in the back garden ?

my camera is a panasonic dmc gf3 micro system camera , i've bought a few macro screw on things but there not good enough can anyone recommend something please.

i want to get in so close i can see there eyes and thing :)
 
Are you talking about a dedicated macro lens or a screw in adaptor to change a lens into macro?

If the latter are you using it right?

For scuba diving I have a marco lens that sits after the cameras lens. Is reduces the focal length not magnifies the results.

At fully zoomed in i can now get withing about 15cms of the object. (DOF is about 2cm though :()
 
what i have got is a 14-42 lens you get with camera and i screwed a +10 ot top of the end and still cannot get in close enough, i want tobe able to get them photos where you can see the eyes of a wasp or insect so close you can see the segments in the eyes.
