Hi all,

Looking for a sense check on this build for a reasonably compact rig for VR and gaming. I have a Vive on order due for delivery in June, so

therefore I'm going to hold off buying a new GPU as Pascal/Polaris may be due around this sort of time as well. I also am utilising a 256gb M.2

SSD and 1TB 2.5" HDD from my G750-JZ so no additional storage or OS are required. Also won't be using an optical drive.

The plan is also to OC the 6600k to around 4.6ghz, due to the cases 150mm max CPU cooler height I am slightly limited so I will order a

Cryorig H7 air cooler from elsewhere. There was a thought of going for a H100 or similar as the case will take it in the front however I'm

trying to keep around the £600 mark sans GPU and also don't really want to blow hot air from the rad in to the case and to the GPU.

The PSU and motherboard should hopefully allow for potential SLI/Crossfire in the future.

Let me know your thoughts or alternative for £600ish?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
