Compact zoom camera - Which one

Hi all,
I need to get a new compact camera. This one looks nice - Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30EB-K. Any comments on this choice, or better alternatives would be much appreciated.

Alternatives are the Canon SX260 and Sony HX 10/20V.. (or even the older but probably cut price Canon SX220 or Sony HX9V).

From the review, it seems to have directly borrowed Sony's feature set of decent panorama/HDR etc.. but there was a note about the image quality not quite leap frogging the other cameras in it's class,

I'd consider the Sony HX9V and save a little money, or wait for reviews of the Canon SX260 and Sony HX 10/20V models..

Or just get the Panny, it looks 'decent enough'..

i picked up a canon sx230hs for £150 with the £30 cashback
its won a few awards and was compact camera of the year in what digital cam mag last year

I went for a Nikon 1 J1 in the end. Arrives tomorrow with a 10-30mm and 30-110mm lens. Play time!
