Company car question

Hi guys, i'm new to this whole company car thing, few questions.

Basically, spoke to HR and she said they able to source cars from a local leasing company and the driver is recharged.

I have a crappy corsa which i want rid of asap as it's a nightmare to drive, seems to rinse through petrol etc.

Now, the thing is, is it worth getting a company car if it will be mainly for use just to go to and from work park at there and leave it till i go home, and mainly personal use outside of it?

I'm self employed here. 18,000 income with 15% commission on my sales.

No cash alternative as far as i'm aware :s

Same haha, spoke to two employees behind me, they both have a company car and told me to ask for one.

It will mainly be used for personal use not business, is this wise?!

So i would just be leasing it then mainly? Is it cheaper to go through my company or?

Well, i work for a big company but they say we are self employed, i have to do my own tax etc on pay days. Well its about a 15 minute drive to and from work, then personal use, i would say it wouldn't be more then 5,000 a year?! If that, i drive to brighton on the odd weekend for partying, i live in hertfordshire.

Maintenance and stuff is included my colleague said, don't know about cost, need to speak my manager when he gets back.

Will how much mileage i do effect the monthly payment?

Ahh i see, well i honestly can't see myself doing a lot of mileage.
