Company of Heroes help

I am going to buy the Gold Edition of COH tomorrow which includes the stand alone expansion pack. I am wanting to download all the patches beforehand to save time, now this is where the problem comes in. There seems to be a shed-load of patches out there. Can anyone help with what I need to download for both games ?

I was having a look at this site, but the one patch is 1.8gb ! :eek:

You only need the patches for opposing fronts, you don't even need to install the original. Just add the cd key for it to your relic online account in game to unlock the content.
I suggest using the ingame updater though.

i have it coming on friday, do i just need to install opposing fronts then? Enter the original cd key to use the original armies, then use the ingame updater?

Im only going to be doing offline skirmishs and a bit of online multiplayer.

Yup, when you install OF it basically uninstalls the original since it contains all the content from it

The huge 1Gb+ patch is for owners of the original (but not OF) to update to the OF version to play online against OF owners.
