Company of Heroes lobby issues

I am guessing you don't as you would not be asking this question. Relic online, esp with CoH is notoriously unstable. They are moving to a more stable server environment soon, however at the moment I believe that they are using that environment to run the multiplayer beta test of the new patch.
As I understand it they are putting all there effort into the beta patch testing and its release at the moment and leaving the regular servers alone.
I normally try the beta first as it is more stable, and then try the regular game if there are no games. My advice to you is download the beta and try that. Normally if relic online goes down then most people head for the beta and you will get a game there.
However don't play as the Panzer elite on the beta as you can't win. I lost three scout cars the other day to three british infantry squads which were not upgraded. Three!!! They did not loose one man and were not in cover. Hope this beta test goes on for a bit longer.

I used to play regularily but have been hooked on SupComm and only yesterday decided to get back into this.
Have they added anything new in this beta or just reballancing?

They are always balancing, however with the hew beta they are doing 2v2 automatch and 3v3 automatch. As far as I can see that is all they are adding. there are no new units or new maps as far as I can see.
The PE were great, if a little OP, then they were nerfed, then they were on balance as they are at the moment. I really really hope that they sort out the balancing issues in the patch as it is nearly impossible to play as them within the beta.
Seriously my team mate and I got spanked, and I mean really spanked like we were a couple of noobs, in a few games the other week. We were playing aganst a mixture of yank and brit forces. When chatting to the guys on the opposite teams while we were going through our death throws, they all said that they can't win as the PE on the beta, so they play as allies. They all said it!!! Glad it wasn't just us. Hope this has filtered through to Relic.

scout car spam was considered imba anyway, good to see its been nerfed... although relic have always been a bit heavy on the nerfs/buffs so they may have gone too far
