company of heroes lost saved games

Hi
Just went back to company of heroes, few months since i last played and got stuck on level 13, was shocked to find I can no longer load my saved games, they no longer appear in coh but
the saved games are definitely still there in the correct folder if I check in my documents/coh.
I even saved a new game and it appeared in that same folder but when I go back to the game I can only see that one saved game.

I was wondering if one of the recent patches has done this (its fully patched up to date)
Im not playing all the way through again so any help would be gratefully received,

what has most likely happened is that you have patched up and the patch does not support saved games. You should find a note in the readme for the patch if this is the case

The balancing of the units changed so much initially it was impossible to resume saved games from earlier versions

Cheers going to reinstall from scratch and then check each patch, Ill see how I get on
