I am talking about some routers don't allow proper port forwarding
 
Odd, I have a router without UPNP and haven't specifically opened anything for CoH yet I can play with mates fine.

Are you sure you have no other firewalls, windows firewall or so ?
Are you sure port forwarding works, it didn't correctly on an ages old sweex router I had and DMZ also sometimes worked and sometimes didn't, have you scanned your ports?
 
Definitely no firewalls, anti-virus etc etc - EVERYTHING is turned off and all ports properly forwarded etc!!

Had a go last night - we both cleared the CoH cache before we tried and HEY PRESTO - worked first time!!!! :D

I'm gonna reserve judgement until this works every time but its looking good so far!!!

yea just keep either going to main menu, restart the game, reset internet, clear cache...

cry when the panthers enter your base to blow up your howie 105!

anyone else find this game simply, for want of a better word, epic?

i had a series of games on sunday night with one (the last one) that went 1 hour 11 minutes 2v2at on Duclair. my teammate is bulgakov the no1 ranked US 2v2 player!
