Is anyone still playing COH multiplayer / online?

I play it a fair bit but get bored / annoyed at being paired with randoms so wondered if theres anyone here who fancys some games sometime.

I'm not a great CoH player, although am a decent SC2 one - Would be up for a few games if you wouldn't mind playing with/against a novice.

Only just finished Hill 192 and never played MP at all. Would still be happy for a few games if you fancy smashing a noob

I dont mind playing with people who are not very good, can always be improved with skirmishes

i play sometimes with a mate. Get a little frustrated with it though, as there is just something off with the balance of control points/population cap for me. It works sometimes, but most games just get tedious after a while.
It is still fun in small doses though.

My experience of COH MP is that it is brilliant, when it works. Unfortunately it can be so hit and miss as to whether or not you will actually see your friends' games that I gave up on it a while ago. The netcoding is terrible.

Best way is to go on Ranked automatch 2v2... that way u are both in the same game vs another team.

I might make a resurgence but its been a little while...If you get rusty on COH you tend to get PIO Spammed to death or ROO'ed down if you are the axis.

CoH 1v1 automatch was like crack to me, took up whole weekends (and more). I've uninstalled it but will be coming back to it once the beta balance patch (current in final QA) is release to retail....

i play it now and again i love the skirmish mode hard cpu players are very hard to beat

I really can't wait till that beta patch is released fixes pretty much all the issues I have with the game, although saying that I still play it all the time.

Have been considering reinstalling this after the recent threads about it and dow2. Totally revolutionised rts's for me and played it pretty heavily for quite a while.

Currently my game of choice is league of legends but i wouldn't mind havin a few games of this. Big fan of the allies, flame tank rush *** ;D

Was never a fan of the expansion armies though, was the beginning of the end for me

I've had to reinstall it now that they've got rid of COHO. Still a great game, best rts i've ever played for sure.

I'm almost embarrassed to say, but according to Steam I've played 600 hours of CoH. And I'm still not that good

I was never able to get onto the multiplayer. Problems with the patches and latest updates etc always prevented me even after hours of scouring the net and d/ling them.

Put me off it completely as the single player got tiring after a while. I loved it while I played though and was really looking forward to MP. Just never worked

I have the retail (non-steam) ones - anyone got any tips on getting them to work on MP?

I been playing this a lot recently, I practice practice practice but am still not that great, I have over 180 hours logged on my steam version alone, though ive owned it retail since day of release, game makes me rage but is also so rewarding online.
