OMG! This was originally November wasn't it? This is unprecedented; a game actually eing released before the original release date.

Had booked next Friday off for Halo3 and now this as well! pity I am lined up for the worst four day week ever though. This will be a nice end to the week though.

Have placed my order now - can't wait for this!

yeah, THQ/relic have to be some of the best in their field, games always come out when they say (earlier in this case), they're always to a high standard, and they're fun to play, unlike people like EA who are content to push any old half finished crap onto the shelves :(

They also listen to their community a lot too, a few maps were released by Relic which were made by users.

I've been playing the OF Beta and its so much better than vCoH :D

couldn't really be bothered with the beta as enjoy vanilla to much - thought I would just wait for the full release and play catch up.

Consequently have not touched the new armies - hope they are balanced against the old ones and not uber powerful in some way.

Relic did that with the Necrons in DOW imo. They can be beaten but it is just a struggle.

necrons are supposed to be difficult to beat, if you have ever played warhammer 40k (which i'm assuming you haven't, although i may be wrong :p) you'd know they are one of the most bitchy armies to play against, even space mariens (games workshops cash cow, and almost unbeatable newb army) struggles. in that respect, and according to games workshop fluff, i think they are pretty accurate (and they should be, THQ and GW worked very closely on the DOW series)
