Hey guys, anyone recently bought this?

Mine are on steam, so they take care of themselves, but I recently bought the whole trilogy pack for my brother for pretty cheap.

Since he's got a slow connection, I figured I'd tell him to download the relevant patches first.

Anyone know what he'll need to install after installing all 3 games?

The Relic patching system is a complete joke.

I would install the last expansion first. Most of the patches out there are the extra multiplayer maps and tweaks that the expansions brought. I have the first two coh and i only have install 3 or 4 patches when i install OF first. if install the original its like 7 or so.

ok, so may not need the discs for the first two and just add the cd keys to the relic account

Does the Anthology have all the discs or just one ? All you need to install is Tales of Valour, as it includes absolutely everything. I think since ToV came out theres been 2 patches so you just need to get the latest 2.

Installing the CDs will take you up to TalesOfValor. Thereafter, in order to play the game online, you only need to donwload a couple of smallish patches to be up to date so it shouldnt be too painful.

I have all three games and installed from the ToV disc yesterday. As mentioned above it asks me to download a small patch as soon as I fire it up - 1.34Mb I think. it then goes out to the Relic patchers and then after downloading for a while - it stops. It tells me that that it is behind a firewall however I have forwarded all the ports needed.

The new patcher is a joke, prefer the old way they delivered patches tbh.

Does anyone know of where I can get the patches from for an install from the ToV disc, so I can get up to date with this game?

On another note: If anyone wants a game of Company of Heroes online add me - my names Drux ingame

I just got this too, he'll need
2500-2501
2501-2502
2502-2600

That's it :)

Oh and I had no problem with the relic downloader although if he's got a slow connection like you say then it may suck ;)

Just curious, how many discs does it come with ? I remember the Gold edition that had both CoH and OF and they provided both discs, even though the original CoH wasnt needed, just the key :).

yeah you should just be able to instal TOV and just add the other keys to your account, no need to install all of them since to play online you need all the models downloaded anyway and TOV gives you all the models :)

what if you just have the first one and wouldn't mind playing it again and downloaded some bits ages ago to try out the added DX10 stuff but never did install it again but now thinks 'Ooo it might be nice to play again.'? :o

:D

Apart from the DX10 stuff where there any other extras or patches for the first one? I think part of the reason I never got around to re-installing it last time was because the patching looked a nightmare.

It comes in a huge box so you think there's gonna be loads of dvd's inside but there's only one lol. bargain at £14.99 from a popular online retailer ;)
