Company of Heroes problem

Just installed COH again to test my new graphics cards. The game plays great with everything on high but there and effects missing such as explosions and muzzle flashes. Is this a know problem with the 1.7 patch?

I have everthing on high or ultra and have two 8800 GTXs in sli with the 158.24 drivers and am using Vista x64.

Its a driver problem. Try the 158.45 drivers, seem to work with me now, I had the same problem

1.7 is the dx10 patch, and iirc dx10 doesn't work right in sli on those drivers.
