Company Of Heros Multiplayer help

I've bought the above game, and i have to confess the last time i played an RTS was c&c red alert. And my strategy then was somewhat basic. Sit back. build lots of power stations, lots of refineries and amass a tank army the likes of which had never been seen before.

then rush an opponent with said massive tank army.

but coh requires something a bit more skillfull. I keep on losing the game due to the fact i allways seem to loose the control points.

has anybody got any advice ? im practicing with the CPU, and getting a major kicking even on easy.

What you playing axis or allied primary ?

Also VP tickers are not as important as controling the fuel within the first few mins of the game.

You need ot try to guess what tactic your opp is going, usualy on the small maps its MG first, then Inf (axis)

Hehe i was/am the same lol but im getting there

I played quite a few on anhialation to get the feel of the game then tried them it on Control points lol, its really awesome the AI of the game from easy to normal lol, i havent gone any further than normal yet as thats challenging and takes a while
But ive only just started playing the Campaign and honestly this has to be one of the best games i have ever played lol campaign is awesome

can you play 1.2 recorded games on 1.3 ?

i've put the games into my playback folder, but they dont appear in game

The game is all about harrassing your opponent, play aggressively.. use lots of mg's early on to limit his movements.. disrupt his resources by stealing vital strategic points (the ones that cut off resources from his base)

no, you'll need some recorded with 1.3

i hate it when that happens.. to watch a classic one has to be at the right patch for the replay to function.

all of the gold replays are on 1.2

is it possible to keep a separate copy of the game patched to 1.2 to watch them ? or will they just clash ?
