I really fancy purchasing this game but have heard that you need a beast of a PC to run it looking good :-/

Can anyone give me an idea of PC requirements before I end up wasting my money?

My setup:

A64 3500+
2GB Ram
6800GT
19" TFT (1024 x 1028)?

Yours will be fine mate. i'm on 1gig RAM, 3700+, 1800xt (i think!). It's a very good engine and lots scaleable.

Edit: checked, it's actually a x800xl ... whatever the difference is. 256mb.
 
im running a64 3200 @ 2.6ghz
2gb ram
X1900XTX 512mb
19" 1280 x 1024

obviously my card is a lot better, but i can run it maxxed out at that res with about 80fps most of the time.

Id imagine if you used that res with medium graphics it would play fine.

download the demo and see.
 
Running fine for me on A64 3200+ (1Mb @ 2.2GHz) with 1 Gb and 6800GT (400/1100MHz). Playing at 1280x1024 with a mixture of medium/high settings but no AA. As said above, the engine is very scalable - I usually find lowering texture quality to medium is a good compromise using the 6800GT.
 
Currently playing on my o/c'd 2.8GHz P4 @ 3.2GHz 2GB DDR and a 7800GS+ AGP on my dell 24" @ 1920x1200 with everything @ max settings and experiencing very smooth gameplay

Thats good to hear, ive just ordered this and im using A64 3700SD@ 2.65 with 2Gig RAM and a 7800GTX@520/1.37 running at 1600x1200.
 
ive just ordered this also

3.0ghz P4
2.5 gig ram
7900GS (PCI-E)

hopefully i will have no problems running it :D
 
hey it runs ok on my 2500 barton 9800 pro 1gb ram set up.. may not be running all the bells and whistles ,but hey it plays no probs.. great game.. :)
