Compaq laptop processor update

I have a Compaq presario A975EM which I plan to upgrade in some way. It looks as if it has the maximum amount of RAM that it can get and a hard drive replacement is impossible as it is SATA I. So I thought I could get a processor update. It currently has a Intel pentium dual core processor which is a LGA 1155 slot. Could I get an Intel i7 2600k in there or not. Would the battery not be able to take this on.

Can I upgrade this in anyway? If not could I plug my capture card into it without it seriously lagging.

That's what I plan on using it for. Also for some video editing. Its an external capture card for my xbox.

I do but it's downstairs I can't move it as it's the family's one. I am thinking on buying this; PACKARD BELL ONETWO LI6327 Refurbished 23" All-in-One PC.
