compaq memory

I was wondering whether anyone knows what type of memory a Compaq A975EM and what is the maximum amount it can take.

How many slots does it have? I could get 3 1GB's in there. would these be O.K: 1GB, DDR2 PC2-5300 (667), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-15.

Or could I get one 2GB and one 1GB? It looks as if it already has 3GB. Could I get faster modules in there or not?

If I cannot upgrade the RAM I may go for hard drive or processor update. It say's pentium dual core but what socket is it? Also what make of SATA is it, could I put a SATA III hard drive in a SATA I slot?
