G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

Which is better if any?

Ryzen 5 3600
Probably GTX 1660 or RTX for graphics.

Still deciding on whether to wait for B550 or just go with x570 or stick to x450 for another 3 years before upgrading.

Why have you narrowed it down to those two options?

They both look very similar but I would buy the 8 Pack sticks.

Either

3200 or 3600

When it comes to memory a higher speed is faster than a lower speed but the lower timings are faster than higher timings.

So out of the two you have listed the Corsair - 16-18-18-36 looks the faster.

But there is more to it than that. Some memory chips are better compatible with Ryzen Samsung Bdie for example. The 8 Pack sticks are Samsung Bdies.

Also the 8 pack 3200MHz sticks are faster than the ones you are thinking of buying.

Just check compatibility as they are high, so might not fit underneath your cpu cooler.

They don't fit according to OC. So I am no looking at the same question. Which ram is best for the 3600 cpu along with a 1660 super on a ASUS ROG Strix B550-F when they come out.

What ever ram you buy just make sure it is Ryzen friendly.

I hear the Patriot Viper stuff is good.

cmw16gx4m2z3600c18. if that is the product code then yes they are very good sticks , currently running in mine at stock 3600 . running with a 2070 super and getting well over 100fps in most games.
