Is there a chart somewhere that can help me estimate the difference in speed between two CPU's?
I ask because I have an iMac with a i7-3779 CPU @ 3.40 GHz and I am considering buying a Surface Pro 4 with i5 processor. I've no idea on the speed differences. I bought the iMac a couple of years ago, so I don't know if this is an older generation i7 and therefore perhaps slower than a new gen i5.
Anyone know?
