hey guys got a college assingment on this just want your views really on linux and why it is/isnt better than windows, i dont know anything about it really so im in the deep end as i dont have a copy either.

sorry meant Internet explorer (IE), will it not be saved in the temp internet files somewhere?

Ah righty-o. It should still be there yeah unless you've set IE to clear the temp files. I've found in the past that if a download fails I can get it to resume by going back to the website and using the exact same link/server and it restarts but carries on from where it left off.

Didn't work all the time which is when I went onto download managers that can resume downloads for you.

tried that but didnt work
