First post, hello all!

Now I'm looking at two sets of DDR3 RAM as I'm looking to replace some faulty ones of mine. Now Ive been looking at two sets, namely:

Corsair XMS3 4GB

Corsair Vengeance 8GB

Now apart from the obvious increase in available memory for the second one, i was also wondering if the slight decrease in latency for the vengeance will show any notable performance increase? Namely to justify the price difference.

When ever I see a review of memory kits, the timings make little difference.

Had a read through your links Stulid, you wasn't kidding about the timings much! Although it does make a bit of difference so i may consider sticking with the vengeance set. Thanks for the help.
