New build for a friend, can someone just confirm compatibility for me please? (It's too early, not had any coffee yet D: )

I think he should be good with the 6300, it's aimed as a budget build

klkl it was just a thought if he able to push the boat a little extra but if not the 6300 is good as well

Looks a well-rounded budget build.

If it were my money, I would spend an extra £6 on a 270x;

And an extra £6 on a better mobo;

(The Giga board is better than the Asrock for overclocking due to uprated VRM setup and LLC)

I might even spend an extra £6 on faster RAM. And get an aftermarket cooler.

But then we start to extend the budget a bit

As others said you could fit in a cooler, 8320 or better mobo with this, or perhaps a more upgradeable basic Intel setup etc if you wanted
