Hey Guys

I've got a program here at work called Zoombini's (such an addictive game!!! lol) and I've been having some trouble running it on a few IBM's we have here

I have found a work around by setting the screen colour depth to 16bit and altering the shortcut to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode. The only problem with this is the compatibility mode bit is user specific and only affects the user that changed it on their profile.

Is there anyway of setting the Compatibility Mode so its enabled for every user that logs on for the Zoombini's shortcut?

Hope this makes some sence :)

if u are, right click on the shortcut, click properties, click Compatibility tab then click show settings for all uses

Did you try placing the shortcut in \Documents and Settings\All Users ? Try modifying it from there.

yup, that was the first thing i tried. it works for the user that placed it and edited the shortcut. but for anyone else that logs on, its just a standard shortcut
