Hi folks, hope you can answer my query, ive just picked up 2x4GB sticks of mushkin blackline enhanced @2000MHz (so yes i know the speed will be ok) but the voltage is at 1.65v, now intel advise no more than 1.5v +/- 5% on all their CPU's, so will i have issues when using these?

If you are concerned that 1.65v is too much then you can manually reduce the voltage.
Most of the 1.65v memory will work fine at 1.575v, sometimes lower.
Don't be too concerned though the recomendation to keep the RAM volts low on Sandy is just that, a recomendation, not an absolute rule.

Still i do reduce the volts a bit myself just to play it safe.

thanks for the replies guys, its put my mind at rest now, although I am changing (again as i cant settle!) to a 3930k if i can afford it, otherwise a 3820, so it will run fine through that anyway, and as you said PCZ, i can always undervolt and clock back to 1866 if i really need to
