Hi,

I have the Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 (rev. 1.1) motherboard and the ram I have is
TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz.

I've been getting random crashes and errors stuff and checked the Gigabyte website and had a look at the list of memories supported by my motherboard.

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4802&dl=#

Well, my memory is not on the list, so does this mean I have incompatible memory sticks ?

Nope, a lot manufacturers don't keep their lists up-to date.

What speed and voltage are you running the memory at and have you tried running Mem Test?

everythings at stock speeds.

The only thing I changed was the memory frequency in the BIOS which I set to 2400MHz and the correct timings which are 11-13-13-35 also showed up.

I was getting random crashes, BSOD and random CRC errors. I ran memtest86+ and i got around 296,000 errors :(

Check the memory voltage, it might be at 1.50v ~ have a go at increasing to 1.55 - 1.60.

It looks like you might have a faulty memory module, try each stick individually and run Mem test and see if one shows up faulty.

Hey thanks for the recommendation. Just double checked the motherboard and the cpu socket seems good So it defo seems like bad ram

RAM is by far the most likely component to either be DOA or go wrong at some point, just the nature of the beast really, lucky it's pretty cheap.
