With the recent price drops, I bought a EVGA GTX 770 card to replace my GTX 570, but Im have huge issues with my motherboard.
I have a MSI Z77 GD65, but every time I turn on my PC, it boot loops, switching to the 2nd bios just presents B2 error code, meaning graphics card issues. If I put my old GFX card back in, I have no issues.
Here is where things get interesting, if I turn off my PC, clear the CMOS, then turn on, it works fine, until I shut down the PC. After that, when I turn back on, it will boot loop.
So on the one hand, the 770 could be bad, except it works fine, no crashes and a weekend of BF4, on the other, the motherboard has to be bad, except it has worked fine up until now and works fine with the older card.
Im not sure what to do, send the card back or get a new motherboard, they both work fine, just not together.....
