Compatable - Yes

I would change the memory as that speed will not be optimal for Ryzen.

If you can find £30 more ;

Or if you are pushing your limit then, just £10 more than the 2400MHz

Though the heatspreaders might get in the way of your cooler

I'm assuming the 3200mhz version of the same one I originally chose would suffice if the budget won't stretch much more?

It would be used for casual gaming, a wide variety of games from LoL, Fallout, GW2 etc and also as a work computer when working from home.

Personally then I'd change the X570 board for a Tomahawk B450 which will save you around £100 then you could add that to the budget and go for a 1660super or if you get lucky you may come across some RX5700 GPU's for around £280...

I wouldn't bother with X570 boards if your just mostly gaming, I'd save where you can and add the performance instead :)

First thing I thought of when I saw the X570 and the memory being used with it along with the graphics card. Downgrade to the B450 Tomahawk which gives another £100 or so to play with. if you must stay AMD then go for the 5700 at £299 or a 1660 Super and put the savings towards better speed RAM.
