compatibilty issues?

have ordered a E8500, P5Q PRO, 4870 an some ocz reaper ram stuff!! lol as an upgrade (other parts being reused).

After countless hours reading, Ive heard of some compatibilty issues with the E8500 and the P5Q Pro, apparently the Pro doesnt take to well to the Wolfdale? core? when OC'ed?

Im no pro but I want to push this past the 4ghz mark, so What i would like to know, does anyone know ouwt about said issues? an will this system push 4ghz on air?

why wouldn't I want it!! lol in all seriousness, I'm not too bothered what I get to, just wanna up it a wee bit, 4 is a target.
ASUS dont support OCZ? didnt know boards were brand specific?

thinkin of water at a later stage when a little more "confident", in the mean time any surgestions on a good cooler? nothing too pricey
