I have asked on this site for some advice and i have been given a lot of help, i have been given a what i consider a good build for my budget but under further investigation i have come across a few problems with compatability with the Motherboard and the CPU which are:

Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
&
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W)

One is Sandybridge & the other is Ivybridge - does this matter? Has anyone had or heard of any issues with the MB? i have seen some good and bad reviews with it not working after a while and maybe having to update Bios etc.

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks
Chris

Yes it's the £45 one, Would OCUK do that?

So i either need to get a Sandybridge CPU too, ask OCUK to pre-flash the board or compromise on board or cpu?

Cheers for the Replies

Thanks, won't be building it for a while like so no rush, but i may start getting some bits and pieces in now. Can you suggest another MB for roughly the same sort of money or is this MB fairly good? Thanks again
