Compatible cpu with new bios update

I have a I5 14600k and was wondering if I updated the bios on my msi pro b760m-p ddr4 to version 7E02v18 (currently on 7e02v16) would it still be compatible and post? Thanks

Yes, my pc wouldn't turn on and found out my ram was at fault, not sure how because I tested the ram in my old pc and it was fine
