Compatible gpu for my existing setup

Hi all,

i am looking to upgrade my gpu to a newer model looking at something along the lines of a

MSI RX 570 ARMOR 8GB OC GDDR5 Graphics Card

I am not really sure if this will cause any issues/ bottlenecks with my existing setup if anyone can please help me out a bit

What card do you currently have? Your post reads R9 200 series, but what model? If it's a 290 or 290x then a 570 won't be an upgrade, but maybe you're running a 280 or 285?

Is the 290x still a decent card is it worthwhile upgradeing yet?

I got a new monitor which is widescreen so been having differnt performance issues as some games arnt compatible with the screen
 
I should think the 290x would perform fairly well at that resolution, it just depends on your expectations.
