Compatible graphics card

Hi,
It would appear my graphics card has finally packed up, fan starts up, lights come on and get a beep but no image.

Looking for a compatible replacement to the currently installed ORIBI D10M1 GEOFORCE G210 512MB a slightly upgraded version so I can get better performance when playing games. Probably been asked a thousand times before but I couldn't find anything on here.

The GeForce 210 is a horrible card, pretty much anything available new will completely hammer it. But if I recall correctly the HP you have needs a low-profile, single slot card, which severely limits what you can fit. I can't link to a suitable card on OCUK because none of the low-profile cards they stock are listed as actually including the bracket needed to fit them in a low-profile system.

However, if you can find them elsewhere these two should do the job and give you a noticeable performance upgrade without spending too much:

Sapphire HD 6450 1GB DDR3 (mfg part code 11190-02-20G)

Asus GeForce GT 720 2GB GDDR5 (mfg part code GT730-2GD5-BR)

I had an Asus 1gb ddr3 HD5570 that was perfect for what you want. Single slot, low profile with bracket, DX11 compatible and quite a bit faster than a 6450. I was running a 1600x900 monitor at the time and there was nothing it did not run okay.

If you can find one of these it will serve you well and should be pretty cheap.
