compatible memory stick for use with media creation tool

only 1 (USB 2.0) out of 3 memory sticks I had lying around, was detected by the MS Media Creation Tool. So I'm looking for a nice & fast USB 3.0 stick, 8-16gb that anyone knows is tried & trusted to use with the above.

Looked at this table for speed companions but no idea on compatibility.

Kingston Technology DataTraveler G4 USB 3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0 Flash Drive - 16 GB

This one worked for me. Only used once so far.

I bought a couple of "Kingston Technology DataTraveler 100 Generation 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0 Flash Drive - 8 GB" recently purely to keep Windows 8.1 and 10 installers on - they've worked perfectly each time I've used them (approx. 20 PCs/laptops now). Not sure how fast they are, but Windows installs pretty rapidly and for less than £3 each I really can't complain!
