Have half a build sat on the table which I would like to finish some day  Hopefully someone can help me figure this out so I can order the rest now.

Mobo is a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P and was wondering whether the Kingston Hyperx ram would be okay with it?

Supported chipsets for ram:

Dual Channel kit tailored for P55, H67, P67, Z68, H61 (AG), and Z77 Intel chipsets; as well as A75, A87, A88, A89, A78, and E35 (Fusion) AMD chipsets

My mobo chipset is AMD 970 + SB950

Obviously I'm no expert at this, it looks like it isn't supported, just thought I'd check as I'm particularly fond of this ram, looks wise.

Specs:

FX6300
970A-UD3P
Sapphire 280x 3GB
Crucial MX100 256GB
Corsair Builder Series PSU 600W

The motherboard only supports 2000mhz looking at the specs, but the ram can run at a lower speed.

Manufactures don't keep there vender list updated and is very rare that ram will not work on many of the motherboards on sale today.

Thanks man. And the speed is 1866mhz, which is apparently okay with my board.

Was just checking. Would hate to have to wait another week because the ram wasn't okay!

Ordering now. Thanks. :D
