Greetings budding forum members!!! You will notice by my lowly post could I have just joined the Overclockers forums… and aim to be the friendly face (well username) to NZXT! Here to help, advise and support anyone who has, or is interested in using any of the NZXT range of products for sale through OCUK! By way of introduction, I thought what better way to kick off than a COMPETITION

So without delay… here is the details:

Hello, i do not want to win one, i just want to ask a question.

Why, oh why was it designed without an external drive bay?

I'm torn between the S340 and the In-Win 703 and the 703 is winning right now cause i need that drive bay!

Less people are using an ODD nowadays, so in order to produce the smallest cases our modern designs omit the drive bay option. The result is a more compact case but also allows room for things like water cooling (see the Kraken series).

There are others in the range with ODD, but none quite the same as the S340. What do you plan to use the bay for?

Hello NZXT Rep, in answer to your question, i use it for a CD\DVD+rw.

In the future, it'll be a Blu-Ray player/drive.

If it had had a slot, i would have bought it last Sunday, when i got some other parts.

The only problem i have with the In-Win case is the Led Fan, which is easily changed ofc.
If OcUK did an NZXT case like that with a slot i'd but it tomorrow.

Have you considered an external Caddy. This could work especially if your using it infrequently?

I want to win the NZXT S340 because I'm looking to build a Water cooling loop very soon and this would be an awesome case to build it in!

EDIT:

Of course a build log will be done with it too!

NZXT do some cool promo videos for there stuff!

I want to win the NZXT s340 because it would save me 5 years on my life, probably stop the hair loss and mean I could stop taking the citalopram. You see, I'm no good with choices, as can be seen by my forum posts, so having a case given would remove the stresses!

Then all I need to do is remove the wife, 5 children, 2 dogs and 5 terrapins and my life would be so much easier!

I want to win the NZXT S340 because I have a really old OCUK Case with the side panel off because the perspexs wouldn't allow me to fit my CPU Heatsink, missing drive slots because I lost the plastic bit and a fan attached to the side of the case because it was hot in summer!

If I win, I will post my pity pictures and show you what living inside my ghetto looks like!

Also, I will feel obliged to post pictures of the rig once built, considering I have some nice parts they deserve a new home.
