Compiz + Emerald Them Engines

OK I got Compiz + Emerald running on Ubuntu Gutsy WOOT!

I remember I had this question last time round, but couldn't find an answer:

Which emerald theme-engine is the 'best' to use?

And does anyone know what the differences are?

Here they are:
truglass
vrunner
pixmap
legacy

I've ordered them into what I think is best, but does anyone know the details?

I don't think any of them are "better". Although I think truglass is the newest. Could be wrong. I can't get Emerald working properly with my Compiz-Fusion so I don't use it.
 
I can't get compiz fusion working correctly either :( Whenever I start it, all my window decorations disappear, although all the effects work as they should.
 
Got Compiz workin on my Feisty... but How do you install themes n stuff???.. I've downloaded 50907-gentle_truglass.emerald but I keep getting 'Invalid File Format' (I've never been able to figure out how to install Themes :( )...

Plus how do you get the Skydome working?... All I get is a White Background! but the cube with me 4 desks is there!!

In the Desktop Cube settings within Compiz Settings you can set the background image. I found it only liked PNG images.

I've tried Numerous .png images!... also in Compiz you can set the top and bottom images on the cube!... I left the 'Ubuntu' one (as you can see!) but I added one to the bottom!... Thats Blank too!! :confused:
 
How large were the png images? I found that an image I got for my cube cap didn't work when it was at a large size - 3mb. When I compressed it down to a few hundred KB it worked fine.

So.. try a small image to start with :D
