I have about £900 but can stretch to £1000 hence the title. I'm converting from a laptop to a desktop so apart from a keyboard and mouse I have nothing so require everything else. If possible I would like to be able to play the latest games such as battlefield at ultra if not high at 40-50+ fps. An NVIDIA cars is preferred for shadow play but not essential. I will be using this build for watching films, playing games and doing general university work. Due to a lack of space the only thing I need is a small case and have a massive preference for the NVIDIA black and green special edition of the Bitfenix Phenom. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided. Also forgot to mention I need it to be built for me. Thanks again.

Do you require a monitor also?
This is at around the 1k mark if you build yourself, OCUK will probably charge £80-100 for build and installation charges.

Thanks for the help, yeah I forgot to specify that I would most likely need a monitor but I could perhaps use an old tv if I can find a decent one somewhere in the loft. Also I'd need wifi capabilities as I will be sharing internet access with housemates so will all be done wirelessly. Thanks for the help:)

That's right I won't need a DVD drive and I wouldn't be able to build it myself as I'd have to travel home to do so and if I get a DOA part I'd have to travel home another time so for me a pre built is much more practical, how would I go about asking Overclockers UK for a quote or having my system pre built?

There is no guarantee I would be in and I wouldn't want to leave it with any of my housemates because I haven't met them yet so no way I could trust them you see

Saturday delivery option might be of use to you, only reason is it will save you at least £100, depending on how much OCUK will charge you.

But, whatever works best for you! :)
