Hi all
Completely new to building PC's (have done some research so not a complete novice) and need everything (mouse keyboard monitor OS etc) with a budget of 2k. Mainly want it for making music, watching movies and playing RTS games. Ideally I want the best graphics possible and if I could squeeze it in the budget a GTX1080ti would be great. Would 8GB ram be enough or would 16 be a no brainer? i5 or i7? what sort of power level would I be looking at? Thinking of what seems to be a standard of 500GB SSHDD for the OS and a 1TB HDD for everything else. In an ideal world I'd like a 27" monitor but from what I see most of them come in low resolution (1920/1080) which well I'd like more than that really so would a 24" be any better?. Standard Optical DVDRW nothing special. I have no clue when it comes to motherboards so any advice would be great. Would any case in particular be any more beneficial or cost effective as the designs aren't really that important to me and can use it to save a few quid with higher purchases else where. have I missed anything or forgotten anything? Would a build like this be ideal for making music, watching movies and creating projects and high graphic gaming especially with my small budget. Processing speeds of rendering projects etc is a high priority as well as loading speeds and quality graphics.
All help and advice appreciated
