I had a fire last week where some of my IT stuff got destroyed. I am selling off the bits that survived to raise money for a new system, but I'm unsure of my two WD Raptors, which both luckily, survived. Even though one of my Raptors is 5 years old and the other one is 3 years old, they are still higher spec than all of the current non-SSD drives, as they spin at 10k rpm. The question is, do I keep my Raptors or sell them off as well to get extra funds?
- If I keep the Raptors, I will be looking to buy one of the barebones from the OcUK Extreme range and build it up with the Raptors.
- If I lose the Raptors, then I'll probably go for a complete system from the Intel Gamer range.
Many thanks
