Complete new system

Hello all, been reading OCZ forum for a few weeks now and have picked up quite abit of info here Here goes 1st post.

So ordering a new rig in a few weeks and here's what I came up with:

The system will be used for a lot of gaming mainly, I hope it will last me a good few years, and also hoping to overclock it abit even though i've never oc'd before.

1 thing though, is it a bad idea to get a 8800 gtx now? Since I heard the 9 series will come out in a few months.

Also any comments / suggestions on the setup would be appreciated

Very nice spec, not a lot i'd change personally. Regards the GTX, you can always hang on, but then you'll always be doing that for some component or another, I'd go with a GTX now. I have a GTS 320mb and it's damn good, so you'll not be disappointed with a GTX.

If I wait for the 9 series I would also have to wait to play next gen games, since my current rig is very poor now (p4 2.8, 1gb ram 200mhz, x800pro).

Think i'll go with the 8800 gtx.
