complete newb to linux.

I'm having trouble getting online using suse 10, an old P3 machine and a Kingston 10/100 card. Each time I try and install the card I get a message;

'The device does not have a driver module. The driver may be built in the kernal.'

I hit continue, load up the default settings, and no joy. Not even playing around with reboots between installing and deleting the card.

Any ideas?

Does the card show up in Yast? I suspect it may already be install but your perhaps unsure as to how to see if it is ..

It is in Yast.

It's a Kingston KNE110TX if that means anyhting to anyone.

I've got a 3com lying around somewhere. Will try that instead!

Got it online now!

It appears the kingston card isn't supported.

Anyone know what YAST stands for??

As for the kingston NIC it probably uses tulip module.
