Just joined this forum ,hello all
Please help on a 2 pc build that I'm ordering soon because I don't want to throw money away but I do want it to last a few years .let me please explain what both is for and I'll give you the specs that I chose , but they both are for very limited use so if you can get a bit cheaper it would be much liked

1 use mainly for Facebook games may need to play the sims 4 and other games of this nature want it future proofed for a couple of years

My choice

Amd 760 motherboard with Amd piledriver fx-8 8350 4.0 ghz 8 core processor
Super flower 550psu
2 8gb ddr3 1600mhz c11 memory
120gb 840 evo series solid state drive
1tb 7200rpm hard drive
GeForce gtx 780ti 3072mb graphics card
Asus xoner DSx 7.1 sound card
DVD re writer

Any money to be saved for what I need the pc for
Please help thanks
And again complete newbie this ones the easiest

Fair enough
So the original pc would it last longer than the other version recommended by you and run all games like watch dogs etc on ultra settings .. I don't. Want nothing that's going to go out of date to quickly.

You didn't mention watchdogs in your opening post. What is your budget ?

well 250w from a 400w psu is not far off the 50-60% curve, and besides, it's only <5% efficiency loss anyway if you go slightly past that

Right I picked a deal on the website and tweaked it
So higher psu the better also that set up u picked how long would that last reasonable
Time line I want years out of it at a high standard that why the big specs ..
It for my mam she has grand kids that's why the watchdog part I don't mind spending the money just want it to last
