I would like to oc my I5 2500k, atm its running at 3.4 ghz, increased by 0.1ghz (woah, what a badass) but I was wandering what I can increase it up too with it being stable, how I would find out its stable etc, also, is the multiplier the only thing I need to modify?

thanks, sam.

I'm reaching 55-61 on average at 4ghz, is this good? what would be an unreasonable temperature?

btw thanks for all the help so far guys :]

hey :) they were all around 61 - 65 near the end of the test, might push for 4.2, see what temps I get and go for 4.4 later, atm watching the ASUS ROG starcraft tourney on twitch.tv (if you were interested :p )

what temps should be the max? I have seen 80 has been the limit for some people, what what does anyone still reading this thread think? :p

I use OCCT to test it, usually for half an hour to get a good read :) while using core temp and keep an eye on the temps

ok, just done a half an hour test for 4.4, max temp was 72C, while the lowest was 65C, I think these sound pretty good, what do you think? :]
