Complete novice looking for headphone help

Hi, first post so be kind .
I'm looking for headphones that I can use on both PC and xbox. Would prefer wireless but I'm not stuck on that. Budget is less than £100. Any advice would be welcome as my head is bursting trying to make sense of the review sites.

In my honest opinion you should save up for a decent pair of headphones, sound is always overlooked. I’d highly recommend the Astro a50 gen 4, they are simply fantastic. I’d also recommend the turtle beach 800x elite. Both sets work with pc and Xbox but your pc will need an optical port.

Steelseries arctis 1 maybe? Wireless version with Xbox support just came out

Yes, but you will also notice I mentioned to him that it's worth saving up the extra for a decent pair of headphones....
