Complete software removal

I was wondering is there a method of completely deleting a software without it leaving any trace, settings or anything like that, other than time consuming search in register? Maybe there is a trusted software removal or registry cleaner software, that will help me to do it?

Revo Uninstaller does the trick for me. Even then, however, I still sometimes have to root around for traces after it's done.

I'm using the same, fantastic bit of software. It got rid of powerdvd 12 for me which is an absolute nightmare to remove it all, didn't leave any traces that i could find.
