Completed Just Cause 2. When I select "Mercenary Mode" game exits, Steam says installing..and then e

Hey guys

So I completed Just Cause 2, the final mission was so funny (riding on top of ICBMs lol). But anyways...I completed the final big mission.

The game credits then rolled. So I bashed the relevant button on my Xbox controller (Im playing on a PC btw) and the menu option appears saying something along the lines of:

Press to play in Mercenary Mode

So I select that menu, and then:

1. Just Cause 2 freaks out for a bit (screen flashes)
2. The game then vanishes (not to task bar - it closes completely)
3. A Steam window then appears saying:

Installing Just Cause 2....

And then it shows an error...and thats that

When I restart JC2 I have to do the final mission again (I guess thats the last autosave).

Can anyone help..thanx loads.

You shouldn't need to select anything. When you load into your game after completing it mercenary mode loads up automatically
