looks great! what sort of temps are you getting on the 2600K? and at what clock?

Also, how much did the watercooling specs cost approx?

Thinking about it WC'ing too :D

Great build!

:oFor the case, fans, controller and all WC kit with tools came to a lip quivering £763 pounds delivered. No the missus doesnt know haha

As for temps:-

I run my system at 4.5ghz with 1.315v as my 24x7 clock. This clock is solid as you like, so im more than happy sitting on the fence here lol.

My 3 x Gentle Typhoon 1450's running at 6.1v (720rpm) which is v.quiet.

Idle:- 23 degrees
100% load under Prime 95:- 40 degrees

Did say it was expensive lol.

Could be done for less if you compromise on parts and try to secure second hand bits n bobs. Id say by as much as half if you hunt around for long enough!

This price does include the 800d case dont forget which isnt the cheapest of things to buy along with a gtx 590 waterblock which again doesnt run cheap.

Didnt take air temps as I built it on air and then the next day swapped out to WC within the 800d case.

Looks nice there and such a nice case too. Very nice temperatures as well even if £760 is a bit of an investment :P Wish i could go about getting a project like this ha :)

yeah its a tadge on the excess side but at the end of the day, I spend a lot of time on the old pc.

I can now sit in my office without sweating whilst playing games now haha

To be honest if i had the money to spend id definitely go for the watercooling approach, temps are usually great and they look brilliant.

PS. I also want the blu-ray drive you have :P

Very tidy. Realign your front cover though it's off on the RHS by about 1mm :p
