completely free web site host

Hey guys. Gotta a young lad who lives near me. He wants to have a website but has no cash. Anyone recommend a builder / hoster site that will give him an address and some space.

No one will give him a free .co.uk (or equiv) domain that I'm aware of.

What type of website does he want? Might just be easiest to set him up on http://wordpress.com?

.Dtdns.net give free domains. Don't know about space. I know some ISP's give you a small amount of personal web host space such as Virgin media.

There are some free hosting packages out there, usually got ads all over the shop though. I believe you can still get .tk domains for free.

are a couple that provide free webspace, but with all things free there are limitations and downtime.

They also allow you to chose a domain name but its actually a subdomain so it would be something like:

http://domain_name.x10.mx/

both ad free as well

Cheers guys. It's just for his models or some kid thing. It does not matter about the domain and adds. So the above should do it. He just wants a clickable link and something to play with.
